Wealthy Affiliate University Scam Exposed
Wealthy Affiliate University has been called a scam by many. All you have to do is Google it to see all kinds of sponsored ads and natural listings that would lead you to believe they have some dirt on Wealthy Affiliate or some kind of scandal is a brew. However most are just using reverse psychology to get you to click their links. The rest (and they are few) are competitors who are trying to hijack you from receiving information on the term you were actually searching for. It is a marketing war out there, everyone sparing for your attention.
So the scam is... there is no scam. Wealthy Affiliate University is a solid service that offers way more value than it charges for its monthly subscription. There is no membership site that teaches the skills of affiliate marketing, has effective support and also provides all the tools and resources needed to be successful online. The site is actually growing and adding more content, tools and resources at a welcomed pace. Just recently they pulled the stops out on their free web hosting service from 3 domains to unlimited!
Once you are a member of the Wealthy Affiliate University and you see for yourself the value, you will want to tell others about it. Be careful your zeal doesn't alienate your family and friends. Remember most people discount making money online as a pipe dream just like you and I did at first. It takes only two sign-ups to cover your monthly subscription cost. Any sign-ups past that is money in your pocket. I covered my cost long ago and also have Wealthy Affiliate putting a little money in my Pay-Pal account each month... cool beans! The kicker is this is exactly what you are learning to do... affiliate market. The skills obtained can be implemented on any affiliate program.
Wealthy Affiliate University Scam? There is none and there never will be... see you inside! KLRrider
Is There a Wealthy Affiliate Scam or NOT
Obviously you and I think a lot alike.... you are trying to find out if there is a Wealthy Affiliate University scam or not.
It only stands to reason that if there is a product or a service that cost money and people out there profiting from promoting it you are going to be able to find all kinds of testimonials applauding it. So what, you reason, that is a given. But if you look for disgruntled customers or some negative feedback you have a better chance of getting closer to the truth.
That is exactly what I did two and a half years ago and guess what... at the time I couldn't find any. But I didn't let that convince me of its value, I purchased another product that promised to teach me every thing I needed to know to make money at home with my computer only to waste $97 and another 6 months of my time.
I am going to be up front with you at this point. I am a happy Wealthy Affiliate member and have been for two years so if you think I am a bit bias you are probably correct in your thinking and I guess I couldn't blame you for not reading anything further, but before you go let me see if I can give you some DIRT on Wealthy Affiliate.
Here are some things I have discovered after being a member for two years that could be improved on or done better. I will even tip you on some complaints that have been made about Wealthy Affiliate before you go. I will give you some fuel for your "Wealthy Affiliate scam fire" so you can see if you can get it to burn!
The biggest complaint I consistently see is people who first join suffer from information overload. I am not kidding... it is complained about often in the WA (Wealthy Affiliate) Forum. Newbies are confused at all the information and decisions they have to make that they just have a meltdown by the end of the week. WA has addressed this with 2 complete remodels of the site since I joined but it still continues to be an issue.
There are some complaints about navigation within the site and there is some truth to this because of the immense amount of tutorials, tools and resources not counting the thousands of forum post, individual blogs and profiles of the membership. This is related to the above complaint and Kyle and Carson (the owners) are slow in addressing these issues but are improving navigational features of the site.
A couple of times I have seen new members complain about not being able to get a refund. Wealthy Affiliate does not have a refund guarantee. It is a subscription site and you can pay monthly or get a better deal if you pay a year in advance. I would recommend going month to month at first just to be sure it fits you. If you are satisfied you can then prepay for a year at the discounted rate. Either way there are no refunds and that could be considered a bummer.
Another issue is that learning how to be a successful affiliate marketer is hard work. That can be a downside if you are expecting a get rich quick system to put you on easy street. Only crazies like me find the work fun and fulfilling. I personally have had issues with using the on site search engine to find answers to my questions, and am struggling with the user interface on their free unlimited hosting.
Can you believe you have read this far? Well that is some real dirt and I hope it satisfies you. If not maybe you should join for a month and search for some more. Remember that potato chip commercial..."bet you can't eat just one." Bet you can't join for only one month! Hey when you join look me up... my handle is klrrider. I will not only welcome you but will also make it my personal crusade to get you to make your first commission as an affiliate.
Does that sound to you like a Wealthy Affiliate University scam or not? You be the judge.
